Connect

Whether you know exactly what you want or only have a vague idea that you’re chasing, we begin with conversation. I’ll listen and look at any inspiring images you may have to come up with ideas that reflect your vision. We'll find a more concrete plan of the piece we’re creating through my unique perspective.

Design

My brain works better "sketching" in 3D than 2D. I'll need some faith to be put in my carving skills rather than sketches I may share. Regardless, I'll make sure we are aligned on the design. From there, a non-refundable deposit (typically 30%) begins the commission process. Most commissions are crafted in 14k yellow gold, but we will discuss materials, finishes, and gemstones to meet your desires and budget. From there, your concept details are finalized.

Create

At this point, each piece is brought to life using carving, wax casting, and/or fabrication techniques. Designs are mostly hand sculpted in wax and refined. No digital design, no digital manipulation, and no 3D scanning or printing is used. Any changes to the design made now will have to be approved and will incur a change fee. Designing a piece of jewelry without a computer these days is a rarity; one that I take pride in.

Deliver

When your piece is complete, it is cast, hand finished, and packaged to be delivered to you. You will receive photos and/or video before shipment. Turnaround time can vary widely, but is typically 3 months, depending on complexity. I will try to work within your schedule within reason and rush fees can be discussed. In the end, I want to deliver a one-of-a-kind dream piece that will last with proper care for generations.
